An electric bicycle needs a transport suitability check before booking. Its battery, weight and packaging can affect which service can accept it.
Send the details before you pay
- Bicycle make, model, dimensions and total weight.
- Battery type and the specification shown on its label, where available.
- Whether the battery is fitted or separate and whether it has any damage or fault.
- Proposed packaging and both collection and delivery postcodes.
Wait for confirmation of acceptance
Contact the team to confirm whether the bicycle and battery can travel and what preparation is required. Do not place an e-bike into a standard bicycle booking without that confirmation. A damaged or faulty battery must be disclosed.
What happens after the check
If a suitable service is available, follow the specific booking and preparation instructions provided. For a non-electric bicycle, see standard bike delivery. Send your e-bike enquiry to the team.
